But even during this adversity, some micro-entrepreneurs decided to change and create new income sources to survive during this time. Now that everything is going slowly back to normal, all the micro-enterprises are looking for tools to survive in these new circumstances. This is the case of Etelvina.

The Business

Etelvina has been living in the community of Cañazas for 25 years, she lives with her grandson and granddaughter.

Etelvina has been selling chickens and eggs for about a year and a half and the business has been successful so far.

Competitive Advantage

She has had a very good production of eggs due to well-nourished and healthy chickens.

-The lockdown rules made it impossible to keep the business active.
